Service Description

Lymphatic drainage massage is focused on improving your immune system and overall circulation within the body. Through light, superficial, and rhythmic touch we are able to open up drainage sites and promote the flow of lymph where it might have been blocked. LDM not only helps the immune system by aiding in the filtration of debris and bacteria circulating in the body, it aids in reducing inflammation, scar tissue, promotes healing after injury, sickness, or surgery, and can enhance the appearance of the skin. It is recommended that you are 6-8 weeks post-op if you are looking to speed up recovery time from a surgery before receiving this type of massage. As always, please consult with your physician to see if LDM is right for you. Post-surgical packages are available under 'Specialty Services'. This massage can be centered around the whole body or broken up to focus on specific areas. Please come to your appointment showered, well hydrated, and ready to take 10-15 minutes to discuss your current state of health and ask any questions you may have.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that things unanticipated events can come when we least expect them to that will result in needing to cancel an appointment. Illness, car troubles, work schedule changes, babysitters, etc. Out of respect for your therapist's time and to ensure other clients will be able to schedule an appointment, the following policies regarding cancelling and rescheduling your appointment have been adopted: *A 48 hr notice is required to cancel an appointment. This allows someone new to schedule for this time. If a 48 hour notice is not given, you will be responsible for paying the full amount of your scheduled appointment. This amount must be paid prior to the next scheduled appointment. *No-shows: If you are unable to provide notice of your absenteeism due to forgetting or choosing to not come into your appointment, will be considered a "no-show". You will be charged the full amount for the service scheduled. This must be paid prior to your next appointment. *Arriving Late: If you arrive late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, I will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for paying the amount for the scheduled session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
